Securovo LLC (“Securovo”, “we”, “us”) takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard information when you visit this website or engage our services. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use this website or our services.

We do not sell your personal information. We never have, and nothing in this policy gives us the right to.

Information we collect

Information you choose to provide

We collect the information you choose to give us. Today that means the contact form on this website, which asks for your name, your email address, your message, and a tick confirming you agree to this policy. If we later send you a different form for a particular purpose (an onboarding questionnaire, a project brief, a payment page), that form collects what it needs for that purpose, and this policy covers it too. Depending on the purpose that might include a phone number, a company name, details about the work you want done, or billing information.

Please do not send passwords, card numbers, or other credentials through the contact form. If we need access to something, we will tell you a safe way to share it.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this website, our hosting, analytics, and advertising providers record standard technical information: browser type and version, IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device type, which pages you looked at and for how long, how far down a page you scrolled, and where you arrived from. One further event is recorded when you successfully send the contact form: that a form was sent, never what you wrote in it.

Some of this is collected for advertising rather than for statistics. This website runs the Meta Pixel, which reports your visit to Meta Platforms and lets us show our own ads to people who have been here before. See the list of providers and the cookie section below for what that involves and how to limit it.

Information that comes from working together

If you become a client, we hold what is needed to do the work and run the relationship: correspondence and support history, project files and content you send us, the account or system access you grant us, and billing records.

How we use your information

• Responding to you: answering enquiries, preparing a plan and a price, and following up. Sending the contact form also triggers an automatic email to the address you gave us confirming that your message arrived, and a notification to our team so that someone picks it up.
• Delivering services: providing, maintaining, and improving the work you have engaged us for.
• Business operations: managing accounts, issuing invoices, processing payments, and sending service-related messages.
• Marketing: we reserve the right to send you occasional messages about our own services. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone else for their marketing, and you can ask us to stop at any time by emailing [email protected].
• Analytics: understanding how this website is used so we can improve it.
• Advertising: measuring which ads and channels bring people here, and showing our own ads to people who have visited this website. This is done through the advertising providers listed below, on the basis of the technical information described above, never using your name, your email address, or anything you typed into the form.
• Security: detecting and preventing spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions.
• Legal compliance: meeting our legal obligations and protecting our rights, our clients, and our staff.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers: the vendors listed below, plus payment processors when paid work begins. They receive only what they need to perform their function for us.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, and property.
• With your consent: when you explicitly ask us to.

The services we rely on

• Airtable: where contact form submissions are stored. Your name, email address, message, and consent tick are written there.
• Our automation server: a self-hosted automation server we operate reads new submissions from Airtable and sends the two emails described above: the confirmation to you and the notification to our team. Your name, email address, and message pass through it. It is ours rather than a third party's, and nothing from a submission is used for any other purpose there.
• Google reCAPTCHA v3: checks that the form is being sent by a person rather than a bot. Google receives the information it needs to score the request.
• Google Analytics 4: aggregate traffic and usage reporting.
• Meta Platforms: the Meta Pixel, used for advertising. It reports your visit, and the fact that a contact form was sent, to Meta so that we can measure our advertising and show ads to people who have visited this website. Meta receives the technical information described above and may combine it with what it already knows about you if you have a Facebook or Instagram account. It does not receive your name, your email address, or your message.
• Vercel: hosting, plus its own Analytics and Speed Insights. Vercel serves the pages and records request, usage, and page-performance data. These two use no cookies and build no profile of you.
• Payment processors: when paid work begins, a payment provider handles card or bank details directly. We do not store full payment details ourselves.

Each of these has its own privacy policy and its own practices, which we do not control.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website sets no cookies for its own purposes: there is no login, no basket, and nothing to remember between visits. The services above do set cookies and similar identifiers, and two of them set cookies through this website:

• Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to tell repeat visits apart.
• The Meta Pixelsets a cookie to recognise a returning visitor and to connect a visit to Meta's advertising systems.
• Google reCAPTCHA sets one to help judge whether a form submission is automated.

We do not show a cookie banner and we do not ask you to opt in first. You have direct control instead: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a tracker blocker, and change what Meta is allowed to use for advertising in the ad preferences of your Facebook or Instagram account. The site will still work with all of it blocked, though the contact form's spam protection depends on reCAPTCHA being able to run.

Data security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:

• All traffic to and from this website is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
• Form submissions are sent to our storage provider using credentials that live only on the server; they are never present in the browser.
• Access to stored submissions and client data is limited to the people who need it and protected by strong authentication.
• We rely on our providers' own encryption at rest and backup arrangements for the data they hold.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We work hard to protect your information, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep information

We keep contact form submissions for as long as they are useful to the enquiry and to our records, and client information for as long as the relationship lasts plus the period we are required to keep business and tax records. You can ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to have information deleted, to opt out of marketing messages, and to receive a copy of your information in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we may need to confirm your identity first.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have, we will take steps to delete it.

Where your information is handled

Securovo LLC is based in Reston, Virginia, in the United States, and the providers listed above process information in the United States and, in some cases, elsewhere. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of this website or our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
